In her career she appeared in 20 movies she started with G P Sippy who gave her break in his film Dus Lakh opposite Sanjay Khan but Raj was released first where she debut opposite Rajesh Khanna and played the role of Asha. Then her Farz in 1967 opposite Jeetender was released where she palyed the role of Sunita. In 1968 Haseena Maan Jayegi opposite Shashi Kapoor was released the film was the highest grossing movie of the year. In 1968, Aulad was released where she played the role of Bharati. In 1969, she played the role of Asha in Tum Se Achha Kaun Hai with Shammi Kapoor. Ek Shriman Ek Shrimati was also released in the same year opposite Shashi Kapoor. Doli (1969) as Asha, Anmol Moti (1969), Anjaana (1969) as Ratna, Kab Kyon Aur Kahan (1970), Pehchan (1970) were some of her movies which were released. Then in 1971, Kal Aaj Aur Kal l was released were she assigned as Monica opposite Randhir Kapoor the movie was based on three generation of Kapoor family. Then Bikhare Moti (1971),Banphool (1971), Jeet (1972) as Kohili , Ek Hasina Do Diwant (1972) Sone ke hath - (1973 )were released.
Personal Life:
Babita was born to Sindhi father and Christian mother on 20th April 1948. She appeared in very less movies and got married to the actor and elder son of Kapoor Khandan Randhir Kapoor in 1971, and became daughter in law of the Kapoor family. As per Kapoor tradition women’s are not allowed to act in films so she quit acting but she got divorced and left Kapoor house with her daughters when they were very young. Karishma and Kareena Kapoor broke the tradition and became the leading stars of Bollywood. Now she is the grand mother of Karishma daughter and son. She reunited with Randhir Kapoor in 2007 after 20 years and moved with him. Now she does charity work and has sacrifice her life for growing up her daughters.
